In brief: Great reef with lots of colors and marine life. Nested in an area of sand dunes, you approach Yucab reef after crossing a stretch of turtle grass, usually a great second dive spot.
Depth/ Time: 45 – 60 ft, ±45 min
Currents: Good conditions, with great views
Life: Scorpion Fish, Lobster, Octopus and more
Dive: Descending at the southern end of the reef, you will see a patch of Coral which accommodates many Lobsters. Drift with the current to the main part of the reef full of life and colors. There is a great outer edge and overhang that shelters divers from the current and creates opportunity for nice pictures.
