3. MESOAMERICAN BARRIER REEF SYSTEM
is part of the Mesoamerican barrier reef system, the second largest coral reef in the world. This area is a home to more than 65 species of stony coral, 350 species of mollusk and more than 500 species of fish. There can be encountered Hawksbill Turtles, Green Moray Eels, Smooth Trunkfish, Glassy Sweepers and many more.
For those who enjoy the thrill of wreck diving experience, there are few places to explore. Among others, Mama Viña
is the famous shrimp boat that sunk in 1995. It has maximum 27 meters/90 feet depth.
